Since we can’t travel to Scotland, we’re bringing Scotland to your living room. Join The Whiskey Library and Glenfiddich National Ambassador Tracie Franklin as she guides you through the Glenfiddich Distillery Experience; a virtual journey through the family-owned Glenfiddich distillery in Dufftown, Scotland.
The virtual tour will take us through the award-winning Speyside distillery as we explore their whisky making process: from the mash house, to the Solera vat, through the still house, and into the cooperage where Glenfiddich casks are made.
During the Distillery Experience, Tracie will guide us through a blind tasting of the Glenfiddich 14 Bourbon Barrel Reserve, Glenfiddich 15 Solera, Glenfiddich 1 Small Batch, and Glenfiddich Experimental #4 Fire and Cane.
About Tracie Franklin
Tracie Frankin is National Ambassador for Glenfiddich. She has attended classes and trainings with the best teachers in the whisky community, worked at distilleries in the US and Scotland, interned with legendary distillers, and read every whisky book she has been able to get her hands on.
Tracie has represented some of the world’s finest whiskies at events and activations throughout New York and Florida. She was the Co-Founder and Director of Education for Whersky, an educational events company dedicated to diversity and inclusion in the whisky industry. Now, as the National Glenfiddich Ambassador, she travels the United States sharing her passion for whisky and inspiring new and experienced drinkers alike.
In 2020, Tracie ranked among the Top Ten Ambassadors in the US by Tales of the Cocktail, and was awarded the Icons of Whisky award for “Best Scotch Whisky Ambassador” by Whisky magazine.
How does a virtual tasting work?
Your registration cost ($40) covers the whisky tasting kit (4 -.75oz samples) and the live online tour and tasting class with our whisky educators.
Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive information for curbside pickup of your tasting kit at Wardman Wines in DC’s Brookland neighborhood (625 Monroe St NE), and credentials to log into the virtual tasting seminar via Zoom.
