Tim Moll

Co-Founder
CHief Scotch Officer
Senior Whiskey Educator

Tim Moll is co-founder and a Senior Whiskey Educator specializing in Scotch whisky at the Whiskey Library in Washington, DC. He has been leading whiskey education events at the Whiskey Library since its founding in 2014. Tim is passionate about Scottish single malts, and loves helping both novices and experts more deeply understand the flavors and histories of these beautiful whiskies. Tim discovered his passion for whisky when he received a bottle of Talisker 10 for Christmas. After realizing the complex and nuanced flavors of this bottle, he began exploring other single malt whiskies. Tim loves diving into each distillery’s history — and the history of Scotland. There is nothing he enjoys more than helping both novices and experts alike more deeply understand the flavors and histories of these beautiful whiskies. When he’s not hunting down a rare Scotch or leading a tasting, he is buried in a book with an interesting dram by his side.
